  • Cirrus over Moat Low

  • I have been to Moat Low probably more times than any other photographer I think. I spent two years visiting this wonderfully tranquil spot where 4000 years ago, two people were buried in a ritual ceremony. From here you can see Minninglow and about 10 other "Lows" - all with burials of their own. Hard to see until you have sat up here, but the feeling of wanting to spend eternity here is palpable - as it would have been in neolithic times. My favourite place in the White Peak.
