  • Winter Light at Moat Low

  • A cold hue to the sky at sunset at the Moat Low Neolithic site in the Derbyshire White Peak. A windswept hill topped with a small copse of ash trees bent and deformed by the constant winds that rush across the north Staffordshire countryside. 
    The sun was behind the hill, sinking into the west and casting long shadows down the nearby field.
